Torre del Mar is a town located in the region of Axarquía in Málaga, and is a fantastic spot for enjoying the area’s wonderful beaches and unique climate. Torre del Mar is home to the Sugar Museum, a tribute to the famous factory that once belonged to the popular Larios family. The city of Torre del Mar has a lot to offer its visitors; the area most frequented by the younger crowd is called El Copo, the city’s nightlife hub. It is a great place to have fun and dance the night away. The chapel beside Manganeta Tower, next to the river, is also well worth a visit. This tower of Arab origins was built to protect the area from potential coastal attacks.
